James' Role as Pastor and Leader

Once, Paul and James, the brother of Jesus, were high in the ranks of Pharisees and neither believed in Jesus.
Jesus talked to Paul in Acts 9:4 and James saw Jesus after his resurrection in 1 Corinthians 15:7.
Paul witnessed everywhere, but like a lot of us, James only witnessed in church.
At his estimated thirty-year job as a ‘go-between’ God and Jews, Pharisees didn’t know James was aChristian.
Raised from birth as a Nazirite, James was the only one allowed in the holy place.
When he was old, the Pharisees stoned him the first time they heard him testify for Jesus.
James was an expert on law.
Every believer should study the book of James to distinguish between real and fake love and works.
The book of James should be studied on how Christians should live, but not how they became or remained a Christian.
His book reflects the same opinion he had in Acts 15 where his “Judgment” proclaimed the keeping of laws essential.
When James believed that Jesus was the Messiah, he jumped on the bandwagon dragging all the Jewish laws, customs, and traditions with him.
He advised Jesus: “Go where more people can see your miracles! they scoffed...his brothers did not believe in him.” (John 7:3-5)
Jesus responded, “...the world can’t hate you; but it does hate me, because I accuse it of sin and evil.” (John 7:7)
No wonder the world didn't hate James.
He never preached Jesus in the synagogue or accuse the Pharisees of sin but became their hero. Why was James’ necessary laws, accepted over Peter’s words on how men reached heaven?
Politics!

The Just was the brother of Jesus and ‘Bishop of Jerusalem’.
Since James said he was a teacher of religion in James 3:1, was he included in Christ’s warning: “...beware of the teachers of religion!” (Mark 12:38)
"Beware of these experts in religion." (Luke 20:46)
"Woe to you experts in religion!" (Luke 11:52)
Jesus substituted spit and dirt (John 9:6) for oil that Jews used for healing.
James’s opinion was, “Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders [leaders] of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil [tradition] ...and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. [Sounds Catholic to me.] Confess your faults. [Catholic confession?] …The earnest prayer of a righteous man [Him and the elders?] has great power and wonderful results.” (James 5:14-16)

This Scripture doesn’t take much word twisting for Catholic priest to be the go-between man and God.
“I will show thee my faith by my works.” (James 2:18)
His works made him popular but didn’t identify him as a Christian.
He hid the Gospel from men who killed his Brother.
He rubbed elbows with them on a daily basis.
He hadn’t been whipped, imprisoned, or stoned but stood in judgment of Paul in Acts 21.
Some argue James was pastor of a non-Catholic church’ and practiced only a few customs like food laws but not the ‘Day ofAtonement’.
If they weren’t faithful to one of their more important laws, would James charge Paul with being “against the laws of Moses” which included the Day of Atonement?
Would Christian Pharisees demand Gentiles to “follow all Jewish customs” if Christian Jews were not obeying the Day of Atonement?
All Scripture, unless it’s God talking, should be compared to other Scriptures.
We do not have to accept James’ “judgment” to be God’s because the Bible is a camcorder that recorded men’s opinions whether they were God’s or not.
If James’s opinion was from God, why did Paul write against his judgment?:
“...doing good and obeying rules...as not eating certain foods...they only make him proud” (Col. 2:20-21)
“You are certainly free to eat food offered to idols...it is not against God’s laws to eat such meat.” (1 Cor. 10:23)
“It takes only one wrong person among you to infect all the others.” (Rom. 5:9)
Since baptism was a special command of Jesus, probably some birdbrain, think-tank elder came up with ‘baptism regeneration’, and then the thinkers took Christ words, “Permit the little children to come unto Me...” (Luke 18:16), and added infant baptism for taking man to heaven.
The devil promotes any worship that leads away from a personal relationship with Jesus.

Contemporary English Version Bible: "Now why are you trying to make God angry by placing a heavy burden on these followers?" (Acts 15:10)
Holman Bible: "For it was the Holy Spirit's decision--and ours--to put no greater burden on you than these necessary things." (Acts 15:28)

If what Peter said was true, why did the Holy Spirit decide to make God angry?

The truth of the matter is that James used the Holy Spirit falsey in justifying his incorrect "judgement."

Some say for a Jew to eat with anyone, the requirements of James had to be obeyed, and because of the sensitivity of the Jews, some laws had to be added.
Ridiculous! God’s gift of salvation is not dependent on anyone’s sensitivity.
James never understood Jesus eliminated his job, of being a ‘go-between God and the people’.
Either that or he loved the prestige.
Should James have heard a rooster crow when glorified by Pharisees who told him that all the people and even they should obey him?
They thought James believed like them and would tell the people that Jesus was not the Messiah.
Their praise turned to anger when James gave glory to Jesus in his first public testimony.
They killed him, hoping the people would be afraid to believe his declaration.
Like a cowboy movie said, “He didn’t live right but he died good.”
