Paul Spied On and Persecuted by Life Jackets

“...I have faced grave dangers...from men who claim to be brothers in Christ.” (2 Cor. 11:26)
“...false brethren...who came to spy as to whether we obeyed the Jewish laws are not.” (Gal. 2:4)
“We who are born of the Holy Spirit are persecuted by those who want us to keep the Jewish laws.”
(Gal. 4:29)
“...if I preached...Jewish laws are necessary for the plan of salvation, I’d be persecuted no more.” (Gal. 5:11)
“Those teachers...who are trying to convince you to becircumcised are doing it to avoid the persecution they would get if they admitted the cross of Christ alone can save...” (Gal. 6:12,13)
Paul was criticized: “Don’t bother about his letters. He sounds big but it’s all noise. You never heard a worse preacher” (2 Cor. 10:10)
“...with tears in my eyes, there are many who walk along the Christian road who are really enemies of the cross of Christ.” (Phil. 3:18)
“...false teachers...bring long letters of recommendation...” (2 Cor. 3:1)

Letters of recommendations may explain why the Jerusalem church didn’t stop the persecution because they were the source.
At this time, the high priest did not persecute Life Jackets but both were angry with God’s apostle for preaching Jewish laws were not necessary for salvation.
